My 25 x 25 Bucket List
I am a compulsive list maker. I make lists of my daily to-dos, my weekly agenda and my monthly bills. I have lists of the places I want to visit, all the restaurants I want to eat at, and just about anything else that pops into my head.
It’s the only way I’ll remember anything, and the only way I stay organized!
Being the free-spirited, adventure-seeker that I am, naturally I have a bucket list. And because I love a challenge, I’ve put a time limit on it… Enter the “25 by 25” list. Twenty five things I want to do/see/be/eat/experience/etc by the time I’m 25 years old.
I got the concept from The Blonde Abroad and immediately put one together for myself. I even wrote about it for Elite Daily. It’s evolved over the years as I’ve taken off things that we’re too easy or simple and added things that pushed me beyond my comfort zone.
I personally like this better than your standard bucket list, because it forces you to do them sooner! Anyone can say that sky diving is on their bucket list. But if you have to do it by the time you turn a certain age, won’t that push you to sign up a little faster?
I’m creeping up on 24, so I better get moving.
Check out the things I’ve done and the things I plan to do. Let this list inspire you to create your own “X by X” list. The concept can work for anyone, not just those under 25!
